Happy Thanksgiving !

Hope you all had a Happy Turkey Day! We had a big one. We spent lunch with Marks' family at his sisters' house. Then we went to my Moms' for dinner. I ate sooo much food but, it was all sooo good. We came home last night from Moms'. On the way I asked the kids to name some things they were thankful for, here is how they responded: Jack said he was thankful for, "food, shelter and parents." I am not sure if he is thankful for his parents or just parents in general he did not elaborate. Thomas said, "friends, parents, and food." Mark said he was thankful for his job. He has had a rough month with work. I said, "I am thankful for my family and the love we are able to share." That love did not last long, by the time we got home the boys were both fighting over who got to go to the bathroom first ect ect. . .
I am trying to get Thomas to try new foods since his list of things he will eat is very short. So Marks' sister had fixed some really good sweet potato casserole and she added the marshmallows so I did get him to eat some of that. I think he liked it even though he did not want to admit it. Jack still refers to the cranberry sauce as cranberry jello. That was the only way we could get him to eat it when he was little. Thomas tried that too. Again he will never admit that he liked it but he did eat what I had put on his plate.
