Some days. . . are just hard. . . Whether you just do not get enough sleep or you hit unbelievable traffic trying to get to work, or the pesky migraine that makes the most mundane task next to impossible. Yes, it was one of those days last night. I worked night shift last night and it was a busy night shift. When I woke up this afternoon Sprat was just coming in, he had been to work out at the gym and gone to get his hair cut. He looked so handsome, he came in the kitchen where I was trying to find caffeine for the migraine that followed me home from work, he said, "you up now?" I nodded groggily. He sat on the couch shopping for his text books for next semester. He is home for a few more days and then back to school. He has a busy semester, with lacrosse season and his classes he will be taking in his major and a new "girlfriend." See how I used quotes around the girlfriend, they just realized that they liked each other three days before leaving for Christmas break, she is now in England doing a week abroad for school. He is not calling her a girlfriend at this point or at least that is the story I am told.
Every now and then you see glimpses through your kids that you did a good job raising them. Remember I said every now and then sometimes it takes longer to see. I got to go to breakfast with Sprat the other day, that is kind of our thing. We go to breakfast and talk about whatever is going on with him. I found out the story behind the last girl that he was interested in, it turns out there was an old boyfriend that she had feelings for. When the old boyfriend finally gave her the brush off she came back to my sweet Sprat to say she could go out with him now. This was a proud mama moment, when the hussy came crawling back because the old boyfriend did not want her, my very sweet boy told her he was nobody's second choice. My heart was a little broken for him but at the same time I was so very proud that he stood up for his heart that he was confident enough in himself to tell her to keep walking. The new girl has been in a few of his classes this past semester so they have been hanging out as friends. I am a firm believer in being friends first and everything else will fall in to place, that is how the hubbs and I got together. We worked together and hung out as friends before we started dating.
Made our plans to go visit Sprat later in the Lax season, I am so excited to see him play in his first real college lacrosse game. He did not get a true season last year and in fact since his school closed last year they gave him his year of eligibility back so he could play in his year of his Masters if he wants to.

Lax, Lax, and more Lax Weekend. . . .
Big T had a big weekend with four games and four big wins for the team!! I am so glad I was able to see him play with this group of boys. The gentleman that heads this group up is awesome and he said it best when he said; "Unselfish, hardworking, young men from 12 different high schools came together as a team," on Saturday to win Big!! These boys have had maybe 3 practices together as a team and they played so well together yesterday, it was great. I love watching these kids play, they are a young team and they each have so much potential. I look forward to seeing these boys play in the future.
It was an extremely hot yesterday and we played on turf, whew, that made it very hot. Those boys played their hearts out and they left everything on the field. It was a great day to be a Lax Brah.

Looking Forward to the Weekend. . .
It has been a busy week at work, I know, what else is new. Everyone is on vacation at our office so I have worked a lot this week, I am not complaining, we can use the extra cash to go toward college. I was asked yesterday if I wanted to go full time rather than part time. I said no, I like my weeks where I may work a day or two and have several days off. I do not mind the weeks that I do work more because like I said we can use the cash to go toward college. Yes, Sprat does have a scholarship but that money does not pay for trips home or trips to see him. It also does not pay to feed this growing boy while living the college life. This next year he is going to have to have a car, so these extra hours at work will really come in handy. He signed his scholarship acceptance letter this week so it is official, he will be back in Boston in the Fall. I got to talk to Sprat yesterday, actually talk no just text back and fourth. He said his new lacrosse coach called him and invited him to a tournament the two days before his orientation at the new college. We will be planning a four or five day trip this summer for the orientation and the tournament. Cannot wait to see my boy play college lacrosse, he had a short Fall season with his current school but we were not able to go and watch any games.
One more night of work and off for a day or two to celebrate Easter with the family. I have to say my drive in to work these last few days has been quite enjoyable, it seems everyone is on vacation this week. Happy Easter to you all and stay tuned as we prepare for our road trip to Boston.

Lax Season is Upon Us. . . .
So sad that Sprat will not have a Spring lacrosse season this year but, Big T's lacrosse season is in full swing with three games this week. The first one was a bad loss, the other team was very good and had been playing together for several years. Big T's team has not been playing together more than a few weeks. The second game also a loss but they fought hard, they stayed close through half time and unfortunately lost in the second half. Big T was so excited when he came home, I had to work that night so I did not get to see the game. He was bursting with excitement when he came through the door that night. I love seeing him that excited and beaming with confidence. I have not seen him this way since last lax season. Looking forward to watching him play this year.
Sprat is getting ready to come home for Spring break, I cannot wait to see him. He said they got a lot of snow this past week. For a kid that did not want to go to school where it snowed a lot and was very cold he sure has enjoyed his time in Boston and is looking forward to and hoping to go back in the Spring. He cannot wait to watch his little brother play lacrosse while he is home on break.
Big T is getting ready to go to his first Prom. We have the tux and his date has her dress now we have to get flowers and the hubbs and I will be chauffeur since Big T has no drivers license.
Stay tuned for lots of Prom and Lax pictures. . .

Leaping into Technology. . .
This week I leaped into technology by creating a snap chat account. My younger hipper co workers helped me set up my account so that I could face time with my son in Boston. He played in his first college lacrosse scrimmage this past weekend and on Wednesday last week he texts me to inform me he may have a concussion. He said he had the worst headache he has ever had. He has migraines and I had a migraine that same weekend for about three days. I thought ok, this is a bad migraine. He then informs me that he got leveled at the scrimmage with head contact. Now is when mom drive goes into overdrive. That is why I did the snapchat, I needed to see his face. I felt like if I could see that face I would know one way or the other if it was a concussion or migraine.
My co workers are the best, I was able to face time him and see that face that I have not seen since September 2nd. I felt some better after seeing him, he did not seem loopy or disoriented or in severe pain like I thought he could have been. He is still having a headache and he text his dad today and told him that he saw the trainer again today and they would not let him go back to practice and that their main concern was to get him back in class. That is troublesome too, that he has missed class because of this.
Needless to say there has not been a lot of sleep for me. When I worry I do not sleep. Work keeps my mind off of everything so I have been working more filling in for folks when they need it. Things are winding down and we will get to see him in person the week of Thanksgiving. Cannot wait to see him. Praying he has stayed on top of his grades, otherwise he will be home for good. Low grades means no scholarship, means the boy comes home. Praying he has stayed focused and diligent in his studies.
Update on Big T he made A honor roll this semester and made an A in his college class he was taking. He did a tour of the Community College since he will be making trips there next semester for classes. Up to this point his college classes have been online so he has not had to go to campus for anything. Things are getting very exciting at our house.
Update on 100 days of Real Food, I fell off the wagon, so I will attempt a re-start soon. I was talking with a friend who is a PA and she was talking about processed food and headaches and migraines and other physical ailments that we have in common and I was telling her about this book. We had both come to the conclusion that processed food is bad and we should be eating "Real" food. This journey is on going at our house.
Stay tuned as the college kid comes home and the Real Food journey starts again.

It Just Got Real!!!!
Things just got real! We just celebrated Senior night for lacrosse, and I just realized I have a a senior. Really??? Are we sure, because I really believe he is only a freshman, sophomore or maybe a junior. He cannot really be a senior, can he? I see a lot of ugly crying in my future, you know the kind I am talking about. I am talking UGLY crying.
We got the cap and gown, I sent the announcements and we are preparing for Summer orientation at my dear Sprats College of choice. Now here comes the monkey wrench. My son loves the game of lacrosse and I wish he had found it sooner. He has spent last year and this year falling in love with this sport. He eats, breathes, and lives for this sport and being the Mom that I am I tried to help him find a way to be able to play lacrosse in college. His college of choice does not have a men's lacrosse team so, I created a profile for my son on "berecruited " to see if any colleges would be interested. To my surprise he has had a lot of interest and a couple that sent email and one that called. The unfortunate part of this all is that the one that is most interested is located in Boston, we are in NC. This school is small and does offer his program of choice which is unusual because not many schools do offer it.
Sprat has applied to this school, he has talked with the coach and we will probably go for a visit sometime in the near future. This school does not offer athletic scholarships but it does offer academic scholarships and we are waiting to hear about all of that. When all of this came out about me setting up the "berecruited" profile for Sprat, Big T said, "Mom you have to set one up for me, I want to go to Maryland and play lacrosse." And there ya go. . . Big T has been playing lacrosse for three years now and he also loves the sport as much as his big brother. Whole lot of changes coming down the road for our house. Stay tuned, oh and do not forget the UGLY crying too. . .

Lacrosse Begins. . . LAX On. . .
This is going to be a very exciting season of lacrosse, my boys will be playing on the same team. They have never played on the same team before for anything. They are both D poles and are playing varsity lacrosse at their high school. We had our first scrimmage Saturday, and bless Big T he did not get to go. Big T woke up sick late Thursday night and missed school on Friday and practice on Friday. He was a little disheartened to miss the scrimmage but he still did not feel well. As for Sprat he was wired and ready to go. They played three games back to back and we had a little rain Saturday too. They played well in the first game but by the third game they were pretty wiped out. Sprat had a kid break his stick over his shoulder in that last game.
I cannot wait to see my boys out on that field together racking heads and blocking shots. Be ready for lots of pictures this lacrosse season. Sprat's team is in white jerseys with black shorts. Sprat is #26 in the first and second picture is clearing the ball to our attack players. The third picture Sprat is getting ready to try and block a kids shot. As a D pole Sprat cannot cross the white line, unless an offensive player stays back.

Lacrosse All Around. . .
Both the boys are playing lacrosse this year. Big T is with the rec league and Sprat is at the high school. Our high school made lacrosse a school sport this year and Sprat is trying his hand at goalie.
Big T had two games on Saturday and two wins. Sprat played on Friday and had a big win. Sunday we went to check out a college lacrosse game. It was really fast paced. It was really cold yesterday too, so we did not stay for the whole game.

Lessons Learned. .
I am always learning new things as are my children. The lesson I learned this past year may have been at my children's expense and that makes me sad.
Being a parent is not easy, and I do not say that to mean that you do not already know how very difficult it can be. I guess I am saying it as a caution to those that come after.
My oldest has played football ever since he was old enough to do so. I know many of you have kids that play sports the same way, be it: baesball, soccer, or even basketball. Sprat has always had a very deep love for football, and has played on some good teams and some not so good teams. I have never forced my kids to play sports, they do it because they enjoy it. Sprat played all the sports until he reached high school. He has only played football for the high school. Playing a high school sport takes a great deal of dedication and not just during the season but in the off season too. Our family gave up vacations and cut family visits short so that he could be at most every season and off season training experience. This was our choice because that is what he wanted to do. He loved the sport.
This year changed for him, football stopped being an enjoyable sport. His team stopped behaving like a team and began to act as every man for himself. This mentality should have been shut down by the coaches but sadly it was not. It seemed to be encouraged by some of the coaches and you all know football is a team sport. It takes a group of young men working together to achieve that win. Sadly this season was anything but a team. They did have a winning season but it was not an atmosphere of teamwork. A few players tweeted on different occasions that they were the star players and they were the reason the team won.
I shared all of this to say that my oldest son has decided not to play in his senior year. There are several things that will be going on during this summer with our church that he is very excited to be a part of. I am not disappointed that he is not going to play, I am disappointed and very sad that he has lost that love of this sport that he has spent his entire childhood playing and loving. I am also a little mad at myself because I should have made our family and family time a priority over football. I said earlier that we did without vacations partly because we could not fit them in between football practices. I wish I had been a better parent and said, sorry our family comes first. This is the lesson I learned at the expense of my oldest.

As parents it is our job to set the family as a priority over all other things and yes that includes sports our kids play. As I look back, Sprat would not have lost anything with regard to football had he missed those few practices to do the family thing. As parents we must remember that it is our job to encourage our kids to do well but it is also our job to make sure what priorities we are teaching. Are we teaching that family is a priority?
I have rambled all over the place today and I am sorry about that but, this has really been weighing on my nerves these last few days.
Stay tuned as I have said Sprat is going to try his hand at Lacrosse, this should be very interesting. We also will have a lot more time for family and those all important College tours.

Update Tuesday. . .
Sprat came home from camp on Saturday and I spent most of the day airing out the funk. Washed all grades of laundry and used almost an entire can of Lysol on what I could not put in the washer. He had fun and I guess that is the important part. He swears he took two showers a day but, I am not sure I believe all that.
We were treated to a great baseball game by my brother-in-law and his wife on Sunday after Church. We had awesome seats and all you can eat food and ice cream and we were in the shade. Shade was pretty important on Sunday. We had several foul balls hit out way and scared the life out of me. My head is a magnet for foul balls. Every game we have ever been to, at least one if not more foul balls have almost hit me in the head. My dear hubby has saved me on more that one occasion, by mere inches. We had upper deck seats for this game and they also gave us wine and beer passes for the bar. The hubbs and I rarely drink but when it is free and you have a driver we might indulge. The over 21's got a different colored arm band for the bar. The young man that was giving us our arm bands gave all of the adults a band without asking our age. Big T of course he did not ask because he knew he was too young but, he asked Sprat if he was 21 and wanted an arm band. Ughhhhh, Noooooo!!! I guess because Sprat is tall he looks older than he is but he does not look 21, that of course is a Mom's opinion. He is only sixteen.
Yesterday was College tour day for Sprat and I. We took a road trip with a good friend and her son that is good friends with Sprat. Our friend is interested in going to this College, Sprat not so much. I wanted Sprat to see this campus because it is a larger campus than the one we went to earlier this year. He needed to see that on some campuses that you cannot just walk out of your dorm and right into your classroom or be at your classroom with-in five minutes. The food that this larger campus has to offer did intrigue him, they have really good places for the kids to eat on campus and they are covered by the meal plan. It is a much larger city so there are more things to do around the campus and I did like that they offered a bus system for the students to get around and all they had to do was show their student ID. Before the visit Sprat was sure he did not want to go to this particular College but after, he was not all that sure anymore. That is the big reason we are going on all of these tours and visiting the different campuses because you just do not know until you see it for yourself. I am amazed at the different perks that are offered to the students as well. We had fun and it was really nice to be able to visit this College with friends.

Crisp, Beautiful, Monday. . .
Watched two wild baseball games yesterday after a beautiful Baptism and Confirmation at our Church. Our youth group is growing and that is so wonderful to see. Our youth choir, the Grateful Choir sang the National Anthem at a minor league baseball game yesterday. They do an awesome job, we did not get to see them though because Sprat had a double header at the same time. Sprat's team is off to a rough start this year but they came on strong yesterday and pulled two amazing wins. We had some unusual plays, to end the first game we had a triple play that began and ended at home plate. Yes, it was a legit triple play. Blooper fell right in front of the plate and a force out at home to start. Catcher throws to first and gets the batter out, then for some reason the kid that was on third came on home, so first baseman throws to get that kid out at home. Triple play! Awesome!! Wish I had it on video because it was crazy! Sprat made two great plays, one at first base and another at third. He did a super stretch and a pirouette to tag the kid out at first. They had a kid in a run down between home and third and Sprat stretched and got the kid out but the umpire called him safe and while Sprat was still laying on the ground at third the umpire looked back at him and smiled and said, "I know he was out and I missed it." I do not think many umpires would admit that one but this guy has been an umpire where our kids play for many years and he has watched our kids grow up and I guess he felt a little guilty. The very next batter the kid tried it again and this time Sprat got him out. Sprat played first, third and he pitched three innings in the first game. He loves playing ball.
I know that was a lot of play by play but these were two really exciting games.
It was a wonderful day.

Living in the Little Moments. . .
I have been staying focused and living in the moment. We had a fabulous weekend filled with lacrosse, Church, youth lunch, and double header baseball to finish things off. Two big wins for Big T and lacrosse, two hard losses to start our baseball season. Very proud of Sprat he pitched 3 innings and struck out 5. He was a little slower getting his bat going but boy, when he got warm, he bounced one off the fence and knocked the third baseman on his booty with the other one. I love watching my boys play ball. They always keep it exciting.
Yesterday the hubbs took the day off and we had our traditional breakfast date and then on to our errands. I know there are many men out there that would not take their wives around for her errands but my guy does not mind. In fact he took me to a new grocery store to try that is not too far, and it was great. I will definitely go back. Wonderful morning spent with one of the three best men I have known. The other two my daddy and my daddy-in-law. My very sweet father-in-law passed away when Big T was two. I miss him, I wish my kids would have had the chance to get to know him. I see him in both of my boys and most certainly in my hubby. I think Big T resembles him the most, it is something about their eyes.

Sad, sad day at my house this morning, my dear sweet Big T informed me that he knows about the Tooth Fairy. He pulled a tooth last night and left it for the Tooth Fairy but, there was some question before he pulled it whether it was ready or not. He was terribly afraid it would fall out during the night and he would swallow it. He has been wanting it out for the past two days and I kept telling him it was not quite ready. The Tooth Fairy must have been very busy last night because she forgot to come by our house. Big T came down for breakfast and I saw his dish still on the table with no money I did not know what to do. I told him the Tooth Fairy did not think it was ready either and that is why she did not leave him any money. Ughhhh, no Mom of the year awards this week. That is when he looked up at me with his BIG brown eyes and said, "Mom, I know." I asked, you know what? He said, "I know about the Tooth Fairy and have known for three years." Ughhhhh NOOOoooooooo! It cannot be true, my heart still laying on the floor.

Husbands and Wives. . . .
Spent a cold rainy day watching Big T play lacrosse. They lost their first game but won the second one big. Big T got his first penalty for hitting a kid in the back. Lacrosse is kind of like hockey in that he had to sit out for one minute. He had some very good legit no penalty hits that were awesome. He played almost the entire second game, except for that pesky penalty. It was cold as can be but we had a great day. The hubbs missed all the action, he was fishing a big tournament in South Carolina. He had a good weekend too, came in second the first day but not too goo the second day.
Whenever the hubbs is out of town like that over the weekend he takes that Monday off. This morning we had our breakfast date and then a few errands and back home to relax and recoup. I can see us doing this more and more as the kids get older and we have more time together, just the two of us. If you are not dating your hubby I highly recommend it. Having kids and being consumed by their activities we can sometimes neglect our spouse. As a wife or a husband we must make a concerted effort to stay connected with each other. Once your kiddos are living their lives and are more independent you should really step up this effort to be connected.
I lived in the moment this weekend with the kiddos and since it was rainy and bad I did not take my camera so no pictures to share this time.
Lots of exciting things going on with the Clan so stay tuned.

Wonderful Weekend. . .
Jam packed weekend; lacrosse, photography class, and school work. Big T had two games on Saturday and they won them both. Big T is still learning the ins and outs of it all but he is having a blast. He loves playing defense and they let him use a D pole this weekend and he loved it. The D pole is longer than a regular lacrosse stick. It was a little awkward at first but then he got the hang of it.
I loved my photography class. I learned how to use most of my buttons on Big T's camera and I took some great pictures at Big T's game. I cannot wait to get some of Sprat pitching this year in baseball. I could have read the instruction manual to learn most of what they taught in my class but it sure was nice to have a person to walk you through what you should and should not do. I think this guy explained everything very well, he gave practical explanations on why and how to get the best pictures. I signed up for the next course they are offering for the intermediate photography too. I am taking these classes through the continuing education department at the community college. I highly recommend that you check out what your community college has to offer. My sister-in-law has taken stained glass courses at ours too, she made some beautiful stained glass works.
Big T got to go to the Charlotte Hornets game on Friday night with his class. He had not been to a professional basketball game before, we have been to a few college games in the past. He loved it, he kept commenting on how small he thought the basketball court was. I guess it looked bigger to him on television. It was a great weekend with beautiful weather. Below are some of my pictures from Big T's game.

We never stop learning, even as adults we are always learning. Sometimes we have to refresh our skills to help our kids with school work. Then you have to hear, Mom that is not how the teacher said to do it. That is my favorite, especially since we are still fighting common core stupidity.
We are learning a new sport, Sprat has been trying to help his brother with passing skills. We had a great Saturday watching Big T play Lacrosse. After watching a game, Sprat has decided he might want to try it next year. We watched several games on Saturday and some of the older kids got a little rough. That was when Sprat said he was interested. Big T's team won both their games and he had a blast. We are looking forward to the season. Below are some of the pictures I took, I am learning how to use Big T's camera. Big T is #42 in black.

Updates on the Family. . .
It has been a year today since my hubby had to have surgery on his knee for a torn quadricep tendon and muscle. I thank everyone that prayed for us during this time last year as we struggled to cope and recuperate. Looking back I know that God watched over us and held us up as we made our way through the year. This was a huge event in out life and it is easy to look back and see where God worked in our lives, but what about all the little things he does every day. I have mentioned before about journaling and how I keep a prayer journal. I try to write in it every evening before I go to bed, this helps me get things that are troublesome off of my mind and on paper and turned over to God so that I can sleep. When you keep a prayer journal you can go back and look and see how God has worked in your life. It is amazing to see what he really does and sometimes you cannot be aware of it if you are not writing it down. So, with the hubbs injury it is really easy to see how God walked with us through this difficult time. He will never be 100% but he is pretty darn close these days. It took a good six months of physical therapy to get him here.
Big T has begun Lacrosse and is having a ball. The group he plays with had a professional Lacrosse player, Casey Powell, come and gave a skills demo and teach the boys a few things. This guy was great, he played in high school, college and is now playing professionally. The boys loved watching him and listening to all he had to share with them. He worked with them for two hours and did drills for the skills he was teaching them. He then stayed for autographs and photo opportunities. Big T is loving Lacrosse, we have a Jamboree coming up this week, I am going to be taking lots of pictures. I am practicing my new hobby of photography.
Sprat is getting geared up for football in the Fall. The high school has already started weight lifting and conditioning after school. He is doing well in weight lifting, he benches 225 lbs. and he is squatting 320 lbs. He has really grown this last year and I think he is going to do well in football. He has still not gotten his drivers license yet. I hope he will be ready to get it in the next few months. I am not rushing him though because I want him to be ready. This perplexes me because when I was ready to get my license you could not have held me back for anything. There are several kids his age that have not gotten their license and I cannot figure it out. I am not rushing, he will do it when he is ready. There must be a reason, I just do not know what it is.

Practice Pinnie and Shooter Shirt. . . LAX
Big T started Lacrosse practice last night and I am learning all sorts of new lingo. I have always been a ball field mom but a Lacrosse field is a whole other animal. For instance a "practice pinnie" I thought was some sort of thing to practice your stick movement, like a practice ball or something. It is in fact a practice jersey. Ha ha ha ha!! A "shooter shirt" is the shirt that goes under their pads and jersey for game days. Yes, they wear pads in Lacrosse similar to football pads but much smaller. I have so much to learn about this sport. I am so glad that Big T is branching out and trying something new. He had a blast last night at practice. He only knows one other kid on his team so he will have a chance to make new friends.
The night they did their evaluations there was one kid that was kinda mean to Big T. He sort of picked on Big T because he had never played Lacrosse before and did not really know what he was doing. T was a little bothered by it but he let it slide. As it turns out this kid is on his team and last night he came up to Big T and apologized for the way he had acted the night before. I was very impressed and so was Big T, so he is already learning some very important lessons. I know it must have been very hard for that kid to apologize to Big T but I applaud both he and his parents. This kid is setting a wonderful example for everyone. I think I am going to like Lacrosse.
Both of the boys are still going to play football but while Sprat is playing baseball, Big T will be playing Lacrosse. Stay tuned I am sure I will have some more funny things to tell you about this new experience.

Football season is about to begin. . . . .
Football season begins and I become a football widow or, more to the point a single parent trying to keep two kids and husband fed, in clean clothes, and at practice and games on time. I love watching my boys play but it is hard to keep up with everything during this time. Oh, and let's not forget school work too, mine and theirs. I guess that is the nature of being a mom, taxi driver, coach, cheerleader, chef, student, teacher, wife and maid.
Dear hubby is going to help coach on Big T's team again this year. He only has two more years to coach him so he is going to take full advantage of it. Hubby loves the game and loves coaching. He worked in a lab third shift and was an assistant coach at a local High School when we met. We actually took a kid on a recruiting trip because his parents both worked on Saturdays and could not take him themselves. That is how dedicated to coaching and helping kids my dear hubby is. He does not want to coach anything else but, he has helped coach basketball in the past.
I like football, not professional really, but college and high school. We usually go to the games on Friday nights and we do go to some college games. Hubby and Sprat both like Miami and Sprat hopes to attend the U of M after graduation.

Another Crazy week in baseball. . . .
Another crazy week of baseball under our belts. What a great week though. The weather was wonderful this weekend the boys played ball and I got to watch. Big T's team is still undefeated and I am so proud of all the boys on the team. Sprat has not had his first game yet. He has had a few practice games but nothing that counts toward the record. I did my first turn in the concession stand. I don't mind concession stand duty, my first job as a teenager was at Wendys. I guess you could say I am a burger flipper from way back. I do not like the smell though, I came home and stunk like a french fry. My hair even smelled like french fries. Oh well, the trials and tribulations of a field Mom. Of course, I would not have it any other way. This week is going to be just as crazy. Both boys have games this week and practice. According to the weather it is going to gorgeous!!! Play Ball!!!

What a wonderful crazy week. . .
Received news of a wonderful blessing, a windfall actually. God is good! I made a 98 on my computer exam and I am so happy for that. I turned in my rough draft for my term paper in my Ethics class and feel good about it. I am getting ready for two wonderful weeks with my boys out of school. I get only one week so they will get to visit with Memaw while I have class two days. We are still working our way through Dave Ramseys' program to be debt FREE with great progress. Everyday we get a little closer. I finished my third book with my new book club. On a side note, I am not buying these books I am getting them from my local Library. This month we read, "Wicked, the Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" by Greggory Maguire. This was by far my favorite book so far. I have a new respect for the Wicked Witch of the West. Great book, I would highly recommend it. We start our new book, "Submerged" by Cheryl Kaye Terdif. Today is the beginning of Holy Week and we had a great service today and the Childrens' Choir sang "Hosana" one of my favorite Hymns. So proud of our Choir. I must add that I just watched Kansas beat UNC !!!! yipeeee!!! I am an ABC fan, Anybody But Carolina. But I digress, God is good and he does watch out for those in need and those praying for help and guidance. He proves this to me daily and I am so thankful.
